This patio is a blend of two different quarry stones, both quarries are out of Massachusetts and similar in color. The texture is slightly different between the two. These are generally full color stones, meaning you get a range of blues, greys, and browns.
Goshen is a small flagging stone, full color, with polymeric sand.
Bluestone full color natural cleft, these are cut joints.
Wall stone from Shearer Hill quarry in Wilmington Vermont. Color tends to run in the grey tones, wth veins of brown.
This veneer work is primarily Ashfield stone, the color tends to be on the blue grey tone, with some brown tones, and some iron viens.
Unweathered fieldstone mixed with shearer hill stone, tones tend to be tans, browns and greys (tougher to find). The patio is cut bluestone natural cleft, full color.
True fieldstone removed from the fields centuries ago, aging tones tend to be greens, browns and greys.
